The 1952 on the label refers to the date the original cantina - on the same site - was built. Intense ruby colour with an extraordinary elegant aroma of woodland fruits. Aged in barrique for 1 year and 2 years in bottle before release, this has delicate, lightly tannic and persistent flavours of fleshy woodland.

On the palate perfect equilibrium of black fruits with coffee and cocoa. Impressive length. Best enjoyed within the next ten years. Do allow time to decant/wine to breathe.
