Since 1997, the 3 hectare vineyard of Château Treytins has produced a Montagne Saint-Emilion wine from grapes grown on gravely soil located in part on a hillside. Average vine age is 25 years. They use traditional Double Guyod pruning with bud removal. They also implement leaf removal and crop thinning when necessary. Harvesting at full maturity in part by hand, the grapes are sorted manually on a vibrated table. The wine is aged for 18 months, 80% in oak barrels.

Notes of red and black fruit perfectly accompanied by a light touch of oak. Clean attack, full in the mouth, with elegant, tightly-knit tannins, and a pleasant, lingering finish.
