Tasting note
Gambero Rosso 2010, "Two Glasses". From a single vineyard, "La Villa" this has a rich concentrated nose depicting cherry and berry fruit aromas. The palate is generous and full-bodied with a long and enticing finish. Unoaked.

Producer note: Tenuta Olim Bauda
The Estate was first managed by great grand-father Giacinto, then by grand father Giovanni, and finally by Agostino, father of Dino, Diana and Gianni, who now are at the helm of it. Since 1998, Dino has been in charge of the vineyards and production, Diana of the administration, and Gianni of the commercial and customer relations aspects .
Year after year, the three Bertolino brothers have studied the wine-making process carefully and learnt all its secrets. Now they offer well-known wines of superb and appreciated quality. They are currently supported in their activities by agronomist Federico Curtaz, and oenologist Giuseppe Caviola.

Le Fleuron, 2005, Heritage (Dr Dargham Elias Touma), £7.5 Lebanon, Red
Best in class - IWSC 2008 Unoaked blend that's terrific value for money, with great class and some power on the palate. Can be enjoyed with/without food and perfect for now (next vintage will be 2008 as the '06 & '07 were all sold to other countries)
Pink Floyd Rose, 2009, Chateau Miraval, £12.99 France, Rose
Part of the album "The Wall" was recorded at Miraval's own recording studios, thus the name. Grapes are bled for for 3 hours only to give a pale pink colour, with delicate fruit flavours. Very refreshing with a long-lasting taste. Medaille d'Or Paris 2010
Riesling Dry, 2009, Villa Wolf, £8.5 Germany, White
Chardonnay, 2008, Rustenberg, £11.99 South Africa, White
