English wine

Is the only way for the English Wine Industry to be taken seriously by the public and trade alike both national and international to stop producing still and quite expensive wine and start producing what we can consistently do well, indeed what the climate and geology dictate will do well; Sparkling Wine?

Malt Whisky - Change in the law

The Scotch Whisky Association (SWA) and the UK Government have produced a legislative proposal to force companies to label their malt whiskies “Blended Malt Scotch Whisky” (instead of simply “Malt Whisky” as they do now). We say this is a bad idea for the industry as it will cause confusion for consumers around the world regarding the labelling of Scotch whisky. What do you think?
